As a member of TruGrocer Federal Credit Union, you can enjoy the convenience of many credit union locations that participate in the Shared Branch and CU Service Centers network. The Shared Branch service allows our members to conduct transactions at over 3,110 locations nationwide. You will see the swirl and the words CU Service Centers posted near the entry of a Shared Branch location. Not all credit unions participate as a Shared Branch location so be sure to look for the swirl logo.
 
 
How does it work? …Simple!
1. Locate the nearest Shared Branch (Click Here).
2. Shared Branch Associate will need to know that you are a Member of TruGrocer Federal Credit Union.
3. Provide your member number* to the Shared Branch Associate.
4. Provide a valid U.S./State Government issued picture identification with signature.
5. Enjoy the services of a Shared Branch near your home or work.
* You must have your member number to transact business at a Shared Branch. Your member number can be found on your statement. You will not be able to transact business with any other number.

Shared Branch Information and FAQ’s
Here’s how it works. Simply visit the nearest shared branch location, provide the teller with your member number, show picture ID and transact a balance inquiry, deposit, withdrawal, loan payment, or intra-account transfer. The transaction is posted directly to your account with Albertsons Employees’ Federal Credit Union.
 
Q. What is a Shared Branch or CU Service Center?
A. A Shared Branch or CU Service Center is an extension of TruGrocer Federal Credit Union where Members can conduct financial transactions which are electronically posted to your account. They are often other credit unions that are part of the Shared Branch network. These locations may also be open extended hours and on holidays.
 
Q. Can I use another number besides my member number?
A. No, you must provide the teller with your member number or you will not be able transact business. If you are unsure of your member number, you can locate it on your monthly/quarterly statement. Your member number is not on your checks or deposit slips.
 
Q. What transactions are available at shared branch locations?
A. Transactions are limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and intra-account transfers.
 
Q. Is there a charge for using a shared branch location?
A. No, there is no charge to you for using a Shared Branch location.
 
Q. If I live near one of the TruGrocer branches, can I use a Shared Branch location?
A. We strongly encourage you to continue using one of our branch locations to conduct your credit union business. Shared branch locations are designed for members who do not have access to one of our branch locations.
 
Q. If I deposit a check do I have immediate access to those funds?
A. Funds deposited at a Shared Branch may not be made available until the second business day after the day of your deposit of local checks or the fifth business day after the day of your deposit of non-local checks.
 
Q. Is there a limit to how much I can withdrawal at a shared branch location?
A. Each shared branch location has its own withdrawal limit policies; you will need to inquire with the shared branch location you are utilizing.
 
Q. Do I need Identification?
A. Yes, the tellers at these locations will require valid identification before a transaction is completed.
